Model rocket exhibit at Sciencefest (2/20/2003)
On Saturday February 1, Dave Whitaker and Ted Cochran staged a
model rocket exhibit at ScienceFest, the Bell Museum's annual event
for kids. As you'll recall, Columbia broke up during reentry that
morning, so we spent a pretty glum day answering questions, most of
which really had no answers. We made a few good contacts, and handed
out literature for both MASA and Rocket League. Ironically, our
table was set up directly in front of the Bell Museum's Moose
exhibit. Too bad the MOOSE sensor was flown during LAST year's
Rocket League Challenge!
