MASA officer job descriptions now online (10/26/1999)
MASA will be conducting officer nominations at the next member
meeting on Monday November 1st. Officer elections will take place at
the January meeting. If the current officers are the only members
nominated for the open positions, as in 1998, no election will be
held.
Nominations for Secretary, Vice President, and President will be
the first order of business at the November meeting, so don't be
late if you plan to attend. Officer positions are open to any MASA
member who is also a senior NAR member carrying NAR insurance in
2000.
These positions require significant time outside launches and
meetings. Officers communicate several times each week via email or
telephone. Officers also meet informally once each month to develop
the club calendar, plan meeting activities, stuff
envelopes...etc.
