BATF Update (1/9/1999)
Back in November, after the news of impending rules and
regulations regarding G and larger rocket motors, Aerotech published
two press releases. These press releases essentially said that
Aerotech had been talking to the BATF, the BATF had not intended to
regulate G motors, the BATF would introduce new rules clarifying
that G's would not be regulated, and that "Easy Access"
high power motors would continue to be unregulated for the immediate
future. These statements have not been confirmed by the BATF.

In early February, representatives of the NAR, TRA, NFPA and BATF
will be meeting. Hopefully, some hard and fast answers
will result from this meeting. Stay tuned...
